Czech soprano Jolana Slavíková completed her Bachelors degree at the University of Music and Performing Arts in Frankfurt under Hedwig Fassbender and Klesie Kelly-Moog, continuing with a Masters degree at the Franz Liszt University of Music in Weimar. During the 2018/19 season, Jolana was a member of the Thuringian Opera Studio, where her singing roles included Zerlina (Don Giovanni) and Oscar (Un ballo in maschera) at the German National Theatre in Weimar. In the summer of 2017, the soprano played the part of Pepa (Tiefland) (Lowlands) at the Théâtre du Capitol. She gave a guest performance as Susanna in the children's opera at the Frankfurt Opera House and as Musetta at the F. X. Šalda Theatre in the Czech Republic, and also took out 1st prize in the 36th Mozart Competition in Prague in the 'Young Singing Talent under 25' category. In 2018, Jolana Slavíková participated in the 12th NEUE STIMMEN International Masterclass. She won the 2016 DAAD award for outstanding performance by a foreign student, and has also been supported by the Giovanni Omodeo Foundation and ArteMusica Foundation. She was similarly awarded a scholarship by the Czech Ministry of Culture. Jolana Slavíková was a prizewinner at the Mozarteum Salzburg's 2019 Summer Academy.
She has been a company member at the State Operetta since the 2019/20 season.
