Frank Sinatra Concert
They were the legendary 'Rat Pack': Between 1959 and 1966, Frank Sinatra, Sammy Davis Jr. and Dean Martin delighted audiences every night with their stage shows in the gamblers' paradise of Las Vegas. The list of hits they pumped out there, which have now become repertoire classics,
is endless, ranging from 'Strangers in the Night', to 'My Way', to 'New York, New York'. Together with soloists Christian Grygas, Marcus Günzel, Andreas Sauerzapf and Gero Wendorff, and under the musical direction of Peter Christian Feigel, the State Operetta's orchestra performs the greatest hits of the 'Rat Pack' trio and its most prominent member: the singer, actor and entertainer, Frank Sinatra. Greek singer Vasiliki Roussi and arranger Manfred Honetschläger appear as exclusive guests. Get ready for rich big-band sounds and romantic ballads, as you step back in time to the days of the great entertainment orchestras, from Count Basie to Duke Ellington.
