Who says it has to be all waltzes and foxtrots? The Operetta can also do disco! Dance yourself silly and burn up the Kraftwerk Mitte with operetta mash-ups, as well as beats and grooves straight from the decks. Live music with the institution's own artists alternate with DJ sessions to create a fun dance vibe at the State Operetta. Each disco is geared around a motto from one of the season premieres, and is an opportunity for themed dress-ups that get the dance floor more than just pumping. Let your imagination run wild right from the kick-off on 3 September, when the Kraftwerk Mitte Fest is followed up by the words: 'We've got magic to do!'
